Marti Liddle-Lameti is an internationally recognized fiber/textile artist creating two-dimensional fiber “paintings”, as well as three-dimensional wearable art. Her work can be seen in private, as well as public collections including Memorial Healthcare of Owosso.
Marti was born in Detroit and after multiple cross-country moves, settled in Owosso with her family in 2000 and continues to call this charming community her home. Her current studio is on Sanford Lake near Midland, Michigan. She formally taught art and fashion design at Owosso High School and taught as an adjunct professor for Kendall College of Art and Design.
Marti holds a BFA from Eastern Michigan University and an MAT from Saginaw Valley University.
